WELCOME to the biscuit mix website

KWMC is proud to present Biscuit Mix - A project aimed at encouraging local young people to engage with the music industry. In 2009 writing and recording music produced some inspiring compositions, which are available for free download in the productions section.

We are currently recording a selection of HipHop and Grime MC’s, as well as some great female pop vocalists, older generation singalongs, instrumental pieces, and anything else that people would like to bring to the mix. You can book the studio for a free 1-2-1 recording session Monday - Friday by contacting jagos@kwmc.org.uk or calling 0117 903 0444 and asking for Jagos.

Alternatively you could come along to one of the drop-in Music & Lyrics sessions which run every Thursday from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. Use the time to make song on the computer using Logic and Garageband, write lyrics and meet other artists to collaborate with.

Unfortunately the previous music leader, James ‘Create’ Glendinning is no longer with us, but an experienced DJ, Producer and promoter Jagos has joined the team.

This year he has plans to develop performance opportunities in KWMC and around the rest of the city, linking with other organisations like Remix, New Generation Takeover, Basement Studios, Hi Road Studios, Kingswood Foundation, Access 2 Music and more!

There are plans to start up DJ workshops in the next couple of months.

There are also plans to start a record label this year.

Our doors are always open, and everyone is welcome, just come along to the centre, or contact us by phone or email, and we’ll try our best to accommodate you.
